CONTROL YOUR BREATH WITH TIM VAN DER VLIET

Privacy

Effective October 17, 2026. This policy covers the Control Your Breath iPhone app and controlyourbreath.com.

Your practice stays on your device

You do not need an account. Practice history, breath-hold results, and preferences are stored on your device. They may be included in backups managed by your device or Apple. The app does not upload your breath-hold history to a Control Your Breath account or server.

App analytics

We use TelemetryDeck to understand which recordings are used and improve the app. Audio playback events include the catalog session identifier and minutes listened, along with standard app and device information such as app version, operating system, and device model. TelemetryDeck uses an anonymized installation identifier. Our custom events do not include your name, email address, free text, or audio recordings.

These analytics are used to understand app usage, not for advertising or tracking you across other companies’ apps or websites. TelemetryDeck states that it does not store IP addresses. Read TelemetryDeck’s privacy policy and privacy FAQ for its processing and retention practices.

Your choices

The recordings work offline. Deleting the app removes its local data from that device; backups are managed separately through your device settings. Deleting the app does not remove analytics already sent to TelemetryDeck. TelemetryDeck currently retains anonymized analytics without a fixed deletion schedule. For a data question or deletion request, contact us through the support page; anonymized records may not be attributable to you. There is currently no analytics opt-out switch in the app.

This website

This marketing website has no account, signup form, advertising cookies, or analytics scripts. Clicking a coming-soon button does not submit personal information. Contact and updates

For privacy questions, use the contact route on our support page. If you contact us, the information you choose to send is used to respond to your request. We will update this page if the app’s data practices change.
